Here are the babies that we have currently in the nest at Cheshunt Mini Lops and Teddy Dwerg.
As of Feb 22, I have changed things slightly, so please make sure that you are aware of the changes before registering interest in litters.
Previously, babies were £75 and I offered new owners the option of my vet doing the vaccinations before leaving with Nobivac +. After careful consideration, I have made the decision that now, this is not an option, but essential and so all babies will leave here vaccinated. This will be done at around 7 weeks old and babies will leave me around 10 weeks old.
The cost of the vaccination will be included and therefore each mini lop baby will be £120
Teddy Dwerg babies will be £190
I will ask for a deposit of £50 at the point of reserving the baby. Please note, a baby is not reserved until the deposit is paid - this deposit is non refundable and can not be changed to a different bunny unless something happens to a baby that has been reserved..
Not all babies on this page will be available. Some babies will be for pet homes only - please let me know if you are a breeder - I am more than happy to let other breeders have my babies but it upsets me greatly if people are not honest - I will 100% ask to see your set up if you are a breeder.
It is incredibly important to me that all babies go to homes where they are going to be given the love and attention that they deserve. I will ask to see details of the housing that you are able to provide for them.
Please remember that rabbits are a long term commitment and not inexpensive pets. All my babies are used to being handled from soon after they are born, however, rabbits are not generally pets which can be carried around. They have their own personalities which will always shine through. Although I have children myself and they have had their own rabbits since they were very small and can confidently handle and care from them, it is always with the understanding that they are ultimately my responsibility - Children must be supervised with rabbits at all times - they are the responsibility of the adults not the children. children 'being board with them', them 'not getting enough time' and, getting another pet are often reasons given for rabbits being given up, which is why it is incredibly important to me that i know new homes have understood the commitment to owning one. ultimately, Rabbits can form a fabulous bond with their human parents, but this does take time and will not happen over night.
Before you decide upon finding a bunny to join your family please make sure that you consider the following:
Rabbits need plenty of space- I will not home a bunny to be living in a tiny hutch at the end of a garden and forgotten about.
Rabbits enjoy the company of another rabbit
Have you already found a local vet savvy with rabbits? - they are classed as exotic pets and sadly not all are experienced.
Are you prepared for the expense? Yearly vaccination, spaying/neutering/food/housing/toys (which they will eat constantly) unexpected vet trips - which are often expensive.
Have you researched fully suitable dietary requirements for your fur baby - rabbits don't eat carrots! (we call this the Buggs Bunny effect!)
Who is going to look after your furbaby if you want to go away on holiday?
Are you ready for a 10 year commitment?
Have you decided you would like a bunny - slept on it for a few months- and still would like a bunny?
If so, then rabbits are the most amazing pets - I can't imagine not having them
If you would like to offer one of our babies a 5* home, then please get in contact with us, letting us know which baby you are interested in and we will get back to you. Please bare with us... we do not check the emails every day!
